OGAT launches Secondary Curriculum

A new secondary curriculum overview has now been launched. 

The work undertaken was to ensure, as set out in the Trust Sustained Improvement Plan, that we provide a knowledge rich curriculum in years 7 and 8 that builds upon primary education and prepares for years 9, 10 and 11 whilst being broad and balanced. 

 Principals and Deep Learning Teams within our Family of Schools will be discussing this with you throughout the year.  The ultimate aim of our secondary curriculum is to provide: 

 A broad and balanced curriculum providing children with the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to develop into well-rounded, informed individuals within a structured and inclusive environment.

 A huge thank you to our teachers and directors, who have inputted a huge amount of work to the new secondary curriculum.  This has been led by Lynn James, Associate Executive Principal, whom we wish to thank for her leadership of this area.
