Outwood Family's Menopause Guidance Continues to Support Staff

The Outwood Family of Schools is continuing to follow guidance and its policy to ensure staff are well-informed and supported as they go through menopause.

Developed in collaboration with staff and unions, Trust’s resources include a policy and a key document titled 'Let’s Talk' guidance.

Katy Bradford, Deputy CEO for the Outwood Family emphasised the importance of this initiative, stating:

“Six out of ten women report that menopausal symptoms negatively affect their work life. However, with appropriate support, no woman should feel compelled to pause her career during this natural transition. Across our schools, we conduct dedicated training to normalise these conversations and ensure timely, tailored support is available whenever needed.”
