We are delighted to announce Outwood Primary Academy Lofthouse Gate has been designated as an English Hub.

The work undertaken was to ensure, as set out in the Trust Sustained Improvement Plan, that we provide a knowledge rich curriculum in years 7 and 8 that builds upon primary education and prepares for years 9, 10 and 11 whilst being broad and balanced. 

In addition to the annual maintenance work and deep cleaning, this summer saw significant building activity take place in a number of our academies. 

We would like to welcome our first junior academy to our Family of Schools.

Outwood Grange Academies Trust celebrated strong A-Level and GCSE results across the trust this summer.

The 2018 Primary Results were released this week, and we are all celebrating superb performances. 

A huge congratulations to Charlotte Grace, one of our science teachers based at Outwood Academy Shafton, Barnsley who won a Silver Award for Outstanding New Teacher of the year at the National Pearson Teaching Awards.

Leanne Jennison, Head of Science at Outwood Academy Shafton was asked to represent OGAT at a reception hosted by the Prime Minister at Number 10 Downing Street to celebrate the work of teachers across the country.
